About me. I am Dr. Sergio Antonio Perez Mendez, specialist in Angiology, Vascular, and Endovascular Surgery. I completed my training in General Surgery at Hospital Regional Lic. Adolfo Lopez Mateos-ISSSTE, UNAM, and obtained my Physician and Surgeon degree at the Facultad Mexicana de Medicina of Universidad La Salle. I currently work as a vascular surgeon in Mexico City, providing specialized and personalized medical care to my patients. I am passionate about my work and I dedicate myself to staying up to date on the latest advances and techniques in my field. My goal is to offer the best possible treatment to my patients, using advanced surgical techniques and less invasive endovascular procedures when possible. I always strive to provide kind and compassionate care to my patients and their families. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as running, and I love music, good food, and coffee. Main treatment areas: Chronic venous disease (varicose veins): Diagnosis and treatment of patients with varicose vein problems, as well as venous ulcers, offering from the first consultation an assessment with venous doppler ultrasound to have a complete diagnosis and offer the patient the best alternative, whether through surgery with state-of-the-art laser, or the best medical treatment. Peripheral arterial disease: Comprehensive assessment at your first consultation to establish the affected arterial territories and thus be able to offer you the best treatment indicated for each case, which may include endovascular revascularization, open (bypass), or the best medical treatment. Diabetic foot: Timely and accurate diagnosis to give the patient the greatest possibility of limb salvage.
