Gorlin syndrome is a rare inherited disorder that predisposes to the repeated formation of certain skin lesions and is accompanied by abnormalities in the bones, jaw, and other structures of the body.

Characteristic signs: early and repeated appearance of skin lesions, cysts in the jaw, pits on the palms and soles, and peculiarities in the shape of the skull or face.
