Guttate Psoriasis

Guttate psoriasis is a variant of psoriasis that presents with small reddish, scaly, drop-shaped lesions distributed across the trunk, arms and legs. It usually appears relatively suddenly and is more common in children and young adults.

Common causes: it is frequently related to a previous infection, especially of the throat, and to an individual predisposition.

Common symptoms: numerous small, red spots with fine scales, scattered in distribution, that may itch mildly and are more noticeable on the trunk and limbs.
