Dr. Rubí Viveros Contreras Licensed in Nutrition and Master of Food Sciences (Universidad Veracruzana), Doctor of Sciences (Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biologicas of the Instituto Politecnico Nacional), postdoctoral stay in Human Nutrition Sciences (Facultad de Ciencias Naturales of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro). Research professor from 2013 to 2016 in the Human Nutrition department of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. From 2016 to 2018, CONACYT Professor; she is currently a research professor attached to the Centro de Investigaciones Biomedicas of the Universidad Veracruzana. She is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores SNI Level I. Her research lines are: Maternal-child nutrition and health, breastfeeding, and functional foods. She is a founding member and member of the Academic Technical Committee of the Network for the Treatment and Prevention of Obesity (2015-present) (REDTPO) CONACyT. Professional Certification as a Breastfeeding Educator approved by the Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC) 2021-2026.
