About the Doctor

I am a psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to caring for various mental health conditions, specializing in addictive processes, brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention, work-stress management, individual conflicts related to relationship problems, fear management, depression, and anxiety; I also have extensive experience managing psychiatric emergencies and difficult populations such as adolescents, older adults, and patients with various types of psychotic conditions. A large part of psychiatric problems involve a great deal of anxiety, so my personal work is to reduce the symptoms that cause the patient to suffer, as well as their family, and so I feel committed and empathetic to restoring calm, reducing the suffering of the patient and the significant people in their environment. I should mention that a large part of these conditions do NOT necessarily require medication management, hence my mission is to assess, provide personalized supportive psychotherapy, and, if the patient requires it, offer appropriate pharmacological treatment.
