Dr. Rafael Arteaga Covarrubias, Military Dermatologist, graduate of the Escuela Médico Militar and Escuela Militar de Graduados de Sanidad (Mexico, D.F.) His first specialty was Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He completed studies in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the Escuela Militar de Graduados de Sanidad, with exchanges at the Instituto Nacional de Pediatría, Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI, Instituto de Nutrición Salvador Zubirán, Centro Dermatológico Pascua. He is a Certified Dermatologist by the Consejo Mexicano de Dermatología with Diplomas in Medical Mycology, completed at the Hospital Gea González and the Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM), in addition to being an active member of the Academia Mexicana de Dermatología, Fundación Mexicana para la Dermatología, Colegio Iberolatinoamericano de Dermatólogos (CILAD) and Asociación Mexicana de Micología Médica, among others. He has attended a large number of specialized courses and workshops on comprehensive, surgical, cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery, and has participated as a congress speaker at important gatherings of Dermatologists in Latin America and Europe, in places such as Paris, France, and Berlin, Germany. Recognitions with Honorable Mention in the military surgeon degree and in the Dermatology specialty. Former head of the Dermatology service at the Hospital Central Militar in CDMX, former head of the Dermatology service at the Hospital Regional Militar Irapuato, Guanajuato. He was director and founder of Clínicas Dermatológicas Dermaarte, currently Director of Clínicas Racderma. He recently completed the Diploma in Pediatric Dermatology at the Hospital Federico Gomez, validated by UNAM, Mexico. Director and Founder of Clínicas Dermatológicas Dermaarte since 2009, currently Director of Racderma By Dermaarte Polanco in Mexico City.
