About the Doctor

I am Marlene, Physician and Surgeon and Clinical Bariatrician. I love Bariatrics because it is a branch of Medicine where we physicians interact closely with the patient, being their main support network so they feel comforted at all times. I love seeing such impactful results and knowing that the main beneficiaries are my patients; when we both notice the significant progress they achieve in just a few months, it is the most wonderful motivation I can have. I motivate my patients through a podcast I produce monthly, discussing various topics related to Nutrition in general and psychological topics that are fully intertwined in this weight-management process. I love supporting each person in their process and on this path toward self-knowledge and healthy habit changes, in order to sustain a better present and a great future.
