University studies at Universidad La Salle, School of Medicine Social Service at the National Institute of Nutrition Residency at the National Institute of Human Communication Specialty in Medicine of Human Communication, Audiology, Otoneurology and Phoniatrics Work as a staff physician at the Hospital de Especialidades in San Luis Potosi, later as staff in the Neurology department at the National Institute of Human Communication, as staff in the Otoneurophysiology department at the National Institute of Neurology, substitute in the Otorhinolaryngology department at ISSSTE Lic Adolfo Lopez Mateos, in the Audiology and Otoneurology service. Private practice in the area of Audiology and Otoneurology since 1992 to the present, working for 16 years for the Radiodiagnosis Unit, giving rise to the outpatient assessment department for private and insurance patients with hearing loss and vertigo, and as an interconsultant for hospitalized patients for Hospital Santa Fe and San Angel Inn. In 1996 we began caring for the same type of patients at Laboratorio T.J. Oriard, now Olab laboratories, caring for Metro, ISSSTE, ISSEMYM patients and insurance company patients, with whom we still collaborate to this day. Since 2012 in private practice at Hospital Operadora Medica Integral Los Cedros. The neonatal hearing screening service was added, along with performing auditory brainstem response and steady-state evoked potentials and corporate audiological screening. Currently, hearing level is assessed in patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults, with assessments to determine the use of hearing aids and with support from different commercial vendors for acquiring them. Patients with balance problems, vertigo, instability and dizziness are also assessed; the etiology is investigated and vestibular rehabilitation is indicated, both in-person and to be done at home. We support physicians from different specialties in reaching a good diagnosis, and we have relationships with specialist physicians for the necessary rehabilitation.
