About the Doctor
Hello, I am Dr. Marco Sandoval. I studied medicine at UNAM. I then specialized in general surgery to focus on colon, anal, and rectal surgery. I graduated in 2016 and have practiced as a surgeon ever since. Every year I attend different courses and conferences organized by the Colegio mexicano de especialistas en coloproctología and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) to stay up to date and thereby provide my patients with the best quality and care. Among the courses I have attended are: -LARTI Course (Jhonson & Jhonson) in laparoscopic colon surgery, Sao Paulo, Brazil (2015). -LAF Course (Jhonson & Jhonson) in advanced laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery, Orlando, Fl (2016). -Advances in colorectal oncology: A century of multimodality rectal cancer care from the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Hospital in New York (2017).
