About the Doctor

Subspecialist in pediatric colorectal surgery, expert in the treatment of patients with Hirschsprung's disease, simple and complex anorectal malformations including Cloacas, bladder exstrophy, and cloacal exstrophy. Treatment of pelvic functional sequelae such as urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and vaginal replacement. Experience in vaginal agenesis and persistent urogenital sinus. We rehabilitate and integrate these children into social life. Since my time in university I have been a physician with high scientific standards, mindful of the social problems faced by sick children and their families. I graduated with Honors from the Physician Surgeon program, completed my Pediatrics specialty at the Hospital General de Mexico, achieving top academic standing, and later completed my specialty in Pediatric Surgery at the Instituto Nacional de Pediatria. I am the first graduate of the only Worldwide Advanced Specialty Program in Pediatric Colorectal Surgery, receiving my training under Dr. Luis De La Torre, a world pioneer in the treatment of Hirschsprung's disease. Aware of the need for medical research, I completed a Master's in Medical Sciences at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, and I am currently a student in the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, with multiple scientific publications. But above all, a mom who understands what it's like to have a sick baby.
