About the Doctor
He is a Dental Surgeon, graduate with honorable mention from the School of Dentistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (1986-1989), and Specialty in Oral Prosthetics (1991-1992) from the Division of Graduate Studies and Research of the School of Dentistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has studied in Japan, Germany, and the United States of America. In 2012 he completed the Mini-residency in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain at the University of Kentucky, KY (USA), with Prof. Jeffrey P. Okeson, DMD. He is certified by the Mexican Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Rehabilitation. He has been lead professor of Occlusion, Fixed Oral Prosthetics, Fixed and Removable Oral Prosthetics, at the Military School of Dentistry, University of the Army and Air Force, Secretariat of National Defense. He has been lead professor of Total Prosthodontics Clinic, 4th Year, at the School of Dentistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. And of Adult Comprehensive Clinic, 5th Year, at the Peripheral Clinic of Xochimilco of the School of Dentistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is currently a professor in the Specialty in Oral Prosthetics and Implantology (2006 to present) and in the Advanced Specialty in Oral Implantology (2011 to present) of the Division of Graduate Studies and Research of the School of Dentistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is Co-coordinator of the Diploma in Comprehensive Digital Implantology of the Continuing Education Department of the School of Dentistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He is a member of the American Equilibration Society: Leaders in Occlusion, Temporomandibular Disorders and Comprehensive Care. He is a researcher at the Clinical Research Foundation and member of the T3 mentor's group with Dr Terry T. Tanaka in ChulaVista, CA (USA). He is Co-author of the book "Fundamentos de Prostodoncia Total", 1st edition, Ed. Trillas, 2010. He is a national and international speaker. Since 1992 his private practice has been limited to the Specialty in Oral Prosthetics and Implantology.
