About me: I am Jose Jakousi Castaneda Vazquez, a graduate in psychology from the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico in 2012, with a specialization in Lacanian psychoanalysis. I also have knowledge of Portuguese that allows me to conduct my practice in that language, thanks to my training at the Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos, UFSCAR, and accreditation from the exam for the Certificado de Proficiencia em Lingua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros, Celpe-Bras. My professional focus is directed toward treating adults experiencing emotional and affective distress due to losses, separations, anxiety, anguish, sexuality, among others. I believe in the importance of a personalized and empathetic approach for each patient, in order to help them overcome their emotional difficulties while respecting their particularities, as this element is a catalyst throughout their processes. I have always been passionate about psychology and feel a great commitment to my patients. I work hard to constantly improve and provide the best possible care.
