About the Doctor

Hello! I am a psychologist who works from a stance of respect, honesty, non-judgment, or criticism toward clients. For me it is essential that they feel confident and heard so that we can collaborate together and obtain favorable results. I have training in the systemic family model, which allows me to understand various relationships and bonds of people. I work in individual, couples, and family or group sessions. In my professional experience I supported at the Centro de Integracion Juvenil C.I.J which is dedicated to caring for addictive substance use, at the Hospital Psiquiatrico Fray Bernardino Alvarez I treated elderly people in individual therapy, group therapy, and test administration. At Fortaleza I.A.P I worked on issues of gender violence in women and children. At the Instituto de la Juventud I treated young people who had behavioral problems, while at the Atmosfera de poder A.C association I provided workshops and therapies to children, adolescents, couples, and families with various reasons for consultation such as depression, anxiety, problems in family dynamics, etc. In addition, I wrote articles on mental health for the electronic newspaper Mugs noticias. I currently focus on private therapy sessions and collaborate as a researcher at UAM-UVM on issues of gender violence; I also worked at Casa Gaviota, un vuelo sin violencia, as a workshop facilitator.
