Specialist in the care, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. At the first consultation, an interview is conducted aimed at understanding the patient's overall health status, and afterward we focus on the reason for the visit, based on which we perform the physical exam and, if necessary, use a magnifying glass or dermatoscope to obtain data that could help us reach a diagnosis. Finally, we discuss the diagnosis, answer questions and propose treatment options. If necessary to reach a diagnosis, tissue samples (biopsy) can be taken and sent for study. It is also possible to perform procedures in the office such as removal of small lesions or application of liquid nitrogen.
