About the Doctor

I am a psychotherapist with more than three years of experience in private practice. Throughout my career I have worked providing emotional support to children at DIF, I have served as a case supervisor, workshop leader, and speaker on topics such as Discrimination and School Violence at private companies as well as at the Instituto Cultural Sucreo school, and I am founder of the Astarte clinic, where I currently practice in my own office. I accompany adolescents and adults on various consultation topics, such as self-esteem, setting boundaries, depression, anxiety, grief, among other emotional and life processes. My practice is mainly based on Gestalt psychotherapy, an approach that focuses attention on the present and each person's experience. I am currently also training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), convinced that integrating both approaches enriches the tools and strategies available in the office. My top priority is to provide a safe, judgment-free space with absolute confidentiality, where each person can express themselves and work on their well-being at their own pace.
