About the Doctor
I studied Medicine at the Facultad de Medicina of UNAM and then completed my Residency at the Instituto Nacional de Neurologia, where I carried out several Research programs (neuroendocrinology of temporal lobe epilepsy, hemodialysis in schizophrenia, etc.) I began society involvement in Biological Psychiatry in 1976 and became President of the Sociedad Mexicana in 1990, continuing my participation in it as a speaker and organizer of various events. I have worked in my private practice for the past 28 years, after participating in various Institutions such as ISSSTE and the former Departamento del Distrito Federal as Medical Deputy Director of the Casa de Proteccion Social No. 4. I was a University Professor of Psychiatry for Medicine students at UNAM.
