I began professional practice in 1990 with great challenges and satisfactions. Since I was a girl I had a clear idea of what I wanted to be, and retiring is not in my plans, since clinical service feeds me, as I feel like a better person every day, since learning comes more from experience than from academics. I consider myself a very human person, spiritually speaking, with a great calling for service and empathy. I have always combined my time at institutions, both public and private, as well as in the afternoons at my own practice since 1997.
