About the Doctor

Professional with more than 6 years of experience in the field of Dentistry, specializing in Orthodontics. Researcher and Professor at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, at the undergraduate level in Oral Rehabilitation, and Graduate level in Occlusion and Temporomandibular Disorders. In 2019 I completed a Research Fellowship at the Universidad de la Republica of Uruguay, under the mentorship of Dr. Marcelo Kreiner, in Orofacial Pain, where standards were set for the diagnosis of orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders. In June 2019, I was awarded the John Gray International Scholarship from the IADR. The first Latin American woman to receive this recognition. Active member of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). Publication of articles in the Revista Mexicana de Ortodoncia, and internationally, in the journal "Mouth and Teeth" in 2017. Participation in National and International Congresses, such as: the National and International Congress of Graduate Studies and Research in Dentistry of the School of Dentistry, UNAM; the Latin American Congress of Orofacial Pain, Temporomandibular Disorders, and Sleep, as well as the General Session & Exhibition of IADR in the United States, United Kingdom, and South America, with both oral and poster presentations. I am currently pursuing Doctoral studies in Science at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
