About the Doctor

Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNAM, specialized in Health Promotion and Prevention from the same institution. Master's degree in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Instituto Mexicano de Psicoterapia Cognitivo Conductual, with more than 10 years of experience in clinical psychology practice with adolescents and adults. Holds certification in Mental Health from the Instituto Nacional de Psiquiatria, is an accredited therapist for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Training from the Asociacion Mexicana para Ayuda Mental en Crisis. Diplomas in Family Therapy, intervention and early detection in addictions, cognitive behavioral procedures through community action for prevention with juvenile offenders, principles of neuropsychological diagnosis in psychiatry, interventions and skill development in adolescents at school centers, and Brief Interventions, among others. She has participated in congresses and symposiums, as well as in the design of Distance Education Programs for UNAM, and has taught classes at the master's and bachelor's degree levels. She currently works at the Secretaria de Salud.
