Dr. Armida Ceballos Ángeles

About the Doctor

I am Armida Ceballos Ángeles, a nutritionist, graduate of IBERO; I hold a Master's degree in Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition from the Universidad de las Islas Baleares, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Since I was a child I always had the curiosity to know how food helped us grow and develop properly, and thanks to that the idea of studying this career took hold in me with increasing strength. In the last 4 years I have worked in several areas of nutrition, from a research project on pregnant women at the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica in CDMX (INMEGEN), as well as with HIV/AIDS patients at the Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Respiratorias (INER). Thanks to these experiences, my interest in the research field awakened, and I decided to pursue a master's degree focused on an innovative topic that would help me improve the quality of diet, but above all, people's quality of life. In 2016 I completed a master's degree in Spain, focused on one of the most relevant topics, currently considered the future of nutrition: NUTRIGENOMICS. With the GENUTRICIÓN project, I seek to give people truly relevant and honest information about nutrition; and since the application of Nutrigenomics is fundamental for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, currently the leading cause of death in Mexico, through fully personalized nutrition.
