About the Doctor
Member of Grupo Hematologia de Mexico. We are a group of Mexican physicians specialized in hematology. Our goal is to offer the most advanced treatments to fight and prevent blood diseases. Through coordinated practice, analysis, and continuous research, we can offer our patients and their families well-designed care using the most modern methods in the country. Dr. Alonso Hernandez holds a degree in General Medicine from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). He holds a specialty in Internal Medicine from Hospital General de Mexico and a subspecialty in Hematology from the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion. For two years he was head of the Lymphoma Functional Unit at the Centro Oncologico Estatal del Estado de Mexico, and since 2019 he has practiced private medicine at Hospital Angeles Lomas. He is a member of the Agrupacion Mexicana para el Estudio de la Hematologia (AMEH).
