Hi, I'm Dr. Alex, I work as a private pediatrician in CDMX, my office is located at Hospital Infantil Privado, where I did my medical residency. I am a graduate of the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte. I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for around 10 years in a private prehospital medical service. I did my undergraduate internship year at the Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, Tx. After finishing my specialty, I entered the fellowship in Congenital Heart Disease, which after a year I had to interrupt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In my private practice I see healthy and sick patients, with the most common reasons for consultation being: low weight, allergies (environmental or food-related), vaccination, respiratory and gastrointestinal infections, as well as mild trauma. I have worked in multiple private hospitals in CDMX as attending pediatrician in the ER, NICU, PICU, Hospitalization, COVID-19 Area at Grupo Ángeles, Grupo Star Médica, Hospital San Ángel Inn and Centro Médico ABC. I currently work as a titular professor of Medical Simulation at Universidad Anáhuac and at Universidad Westhill for the subjects of Basic Clinical Integration II and Breastfeeding. I graduated as Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) • General Studies degree from the Universidad Anáhuac. I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for about 10 years in a private prehospital emergency service. I did my medical internship at Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, Tx. After pediatrics residency I started a fellowship in Congenital Heart Disease which I had to interrupt due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In my private practice I see sick and healthy patients; the most common causes of consultation are: low weight, allergies (respiratory or alimentary), immunizations, upper airway tract infections, gastrointestinal infections and mild trauma. I've worked in multiple private hospitals as attending pediatrician in the ER, PICU, NICU and hospitalization, including Grupo Ángeles, Grupo Star Médica, Hospital San Ángel Inn and The American British Cowdray Medical Center (ABC) among others. And now I'm currently working as a professor in medical simulation at Anáhuac University and also at Westhill University for Family Medicine and Advanced Clinical Integration in Mexico City.
