Last year, I scheduled a tonsillectomy at el Hospital San Pio with Doctor Juan Gustavo Carillo Partida. I got it done in Guadalajara because I was already traveling to Mexico and it was too expensive of a surgery to get in the US. They took great care of me at the hospital and the procedure went smoothly. I stayed the night there to be monitored and they checked on me a few times. The night after I was discharged, I had so much phlegm building up in the throat and went back to the hospital and got a shot that helped alleviate that feeling. Dr. Gustavo was a great communicator and was helpful in coordinating the surgery. The doctor was clear with his instructions and patient with my Spanish since I'm not fully fluent. Thank you!
