I was impressed with the level of understanding and time taken t explain the various options and the speed at which the operation for the cataracts was completed. I could have gone to Canada for the operation but there was no assurance of an operation date and it would have taken two trips to get it done. Dr. Tostado was excellent and I highly recomend him to any expats looking to get the surgery done, quickly.

I’ve worn glasses/contacts since I was 7 years old. My prescription in contacts was -8.50 and almost -10 in glasses. I was nervous about getting surgery on my eyes but I’m so glad I did! Dr. Guillermo is very professional and speaks English as do his staff. He and the staff were very attentive and kind. My cataract treatment was successfully and conveniently carried out at excellent facilities here lakeside in Ajijic. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Guillermo, I have never had better vision in my life.

Se agendó la cita por internet y al momento de llegar al consultorio no se encontraba el doctor y la secretaria dijo que no iba a estar por 2 semanas, sería bueno que avisara para no tener esa sorpresa ya que tenía una urgencia. Pero con el doctor no tuve ningún trato, no puedo opinar de su servicio.

El dr. es una excelente persona que se nota en su forma de hablar su preparación , sabiduría y experiencia , la calidez y educación que te trata y cada detalle que necesitas saber en cuanto tu padecimiento ,demostrando al mismo tiempo su onradez.

Dr. Enriquez is an excellent opthamologist. I came to Mexico for cataract surgery and to have multifocal lenses inserted. After many tests, Dr. Endriquez determined that I was better off with a multifocal lens in my right eye and a mono-focal in my left, due to the amount of astigmatism and other things that turned up in his extensive tests. I was hesitant at first, but I saw him stressing over this, and realized he just wanted what was best for me. I'd never had this level of compassion and personal care from a physician! He was genuinely concerned about my well-being and the outcome of my cataract surgeries and the results. In the end, he was right in using the mix-and-match option, with a multi-focal lens in one eye and a mono-focal lens in the other. I'm so unbelievably pleased with he outcome, which is allowing me to go eyeglasses-free! I can't begin to express my gratitude for Dr. Enriquez. I highly recommend him for his exceptional knowledge, his personal care (he met me on Sunday, called me personally, and ALWAYS made himself available). It was beyond any care I've had in the United States. If you're considering cataract surgery with multi-focal or mono[focal lenses, I hope you will put your trust in Dr. Enriquez...I can't emphasize how caring he is, and the level of his expertise, his detailed explanations, all made me feel very secure in his care. My husband will eventually require cataract surgery, and he is looking forward to returning to Guadalajara so that Dr. Enriquez can perform his surgeries.
